Here is a rare NOS-new (old stock) armature made by Wood Auto Supplies Limited- Automotive Armatures, for the TR2, and TR3 to TS50000 ('56-'59).  These are also NLA (no longer available) as new.  The box is pretty much ripped up, but the armature is still new and perfect.  A light coating of cosmolene can still be seen to protect the armature.

Real UK car sales ‘have halved’ in November 2008

Although official registration figures won’t be released until later this week, we can reveal that retail sales slumped by 45% in November 2008. It’s a crucial metric, retail registrations being actual sales to real people – as opposed to bulk-buy fleet deals to businesses (which are also down).

Nissan has revealed that it plans to install an electronic steer-by-wire system in to its Infiniti models in 2013. As car makers seek to squeeze every last fraction of a mile out of their cars to hit economy and emissions targets, computer control of many of a car’s functions are controlled by computer, which means the official tests for economy and emissions can be guaranteed to produce predictable results. Now Nissan are to take electronic steering to its logical conclusion by eliminating any direct connection between the steering wheel and the front wheels (except in an emergency) with the first fly-by-wire steering system in a production car.

Toyota will recall 2.3 million more vehicles for sticking accelerators

Toyota Motor Corp. will recall millions more vehicles in the United States, its second large recall in four months, this time to fix potentially faulty accelerator pedals. The newest recall, covering 2.3 million vehicles, means some Toyota owners will be affected by both notices.
