XLE is made from the highest quality polyester yarns with marine finish on both core and cover. The balanced core to cover construction insures that XLE will remain easy to handle and splice while offering maximum abrasion resistance. Color fast cover yarns are solution dyed Firebrite 2000 polyester. Carlos Ghosn, Nissan CEO and general talisman, struts his stuff with the new electric Leaf – and promises three other EVs: a van based on the NV200, a compact, high-performance, luxury four-seat Infiniti (think Lexus LF-Ch or BMW 1-series) and an urban car inspired by the crazy Land Glider concept. Yes, the leaning-over, futuristic looking Nissan Land Glider has some production intent, he vows. It looks like it’s been squished from both sides, and if you’re lanky them climbing in is quite a squeeze.

It seems all automakers are tapping the social-media networks these days. From the Ford Mustang Mayhem package to the Toyota Prius plural campaign, conventional wisdom is there's nothing a few thousand Facebook fans can't handle. The latest automaker to hop the train is Honda, which is sponsoring a creative songwriting competition called the Sounds of Civic to mark the debut of the 2012 Honda Civic.

Suzuki will launch the S-Cross crossover in late 2013, as a Golf-sized 4x4 to succeed the SX4. It's a bigger vehicle than today's SX4 and marks the end of the collaboration with Fiat which spawned the Sedici. The Italians will now turn to inhouse partner Jeep while Suzuki develops the new S-Cross itself.
