The Gen 2.8 Quick Release utilizes all the features of the Second Generation Systems ball-locking quick release system engineered with raised sections to prevent the scratching and stretching of the hub while a self locking feature adds increased safety and functionality, with the added benefit of an upgraded diamond cut flared ring. This allows much easier release for the steering wheel by providing added leverage and grip onto the pull ring. Add style and look to any vehicle. Perfect for race applications where the use of gloves are required.

    Audi will take advantage of New York's 'Festival of Ideas' to display their vision of Manhattan in 2030, an objective that fulfills part of the German automaker's Urban Future Initiative. Now in its second year (the first was held in Venice last year) the initiative was created with the intention of looking at the future of megacities as well as individual transport methods and mobility. For Project New York, Audi will be bringing together architects, designers, artists and researchers to visualize ideas for the city's future, and the carmaker has collaborated with the Architizer architecture community to create a 1:1200 scale model of Manhattan.

    Michelin Challenge Design Selects Designs for 2009 NAIAS

    The Michelin Challenge Design Jury met in July at Art Center College of Design and selected the designs that will be displayed next January at the 2009 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) at the Cobo Center in Detroit. The entrants were challenged to create vehicles in support of the central theme ‘BRAVE+BOLD'; America's Next Iconic Vehicle. The designs were evaluated for uniqueness, emotional appeal, design courage and technical execution.
