Mazda2 Activematic It took Mazda an awfully long time to introduce the 2011 Mazda2 Facelift. In fact the very same Mazda2 nose was already running off the production lines in Thailand in October 2009, so it seems most peculiar that the facelifted cars are only just starting to arrive in UK showrooms. It’s a preview of the Kangoo-based electric commercial vehicle that Renault will sell from 2011. That white paint is practical – it’s heat-reflective and helps to prevent temperature fluctuations, as does the Thermos-style double-layer bodywork.
