1911 Motorcycle Accessories Ad Genuine, Not Reproduction!

Just over 100 years old, a beautiful look at our early motorcycling days!

This is a genuine 1911 sheet from a vintage magazine, the front side includes advertisements for Drummond Brothers lathe, and the S.Smith & Son, LTD Speedometer.  I've also included a photo of the backside of this ad as well for you to examine. This double sided page measures approximately 8" x 10 1/2". It is in very good condition, please see photos of both front and back of this single sheet ad.

I have recently received several vintage 1911 advertisements, and am putting them up for sale. All are ORIGINAL 1911 ads from a vintage motorcycle magazine of the day. These ads are all in good condition, there is some faint creasing and edge flaws, also the occaisional bent corner. Please examine my listing photos of the ad closely, as it is the best description I can offer. When purchasing, remember that these ads are over 100 years old, and are not meant to be handled as you would a modern magazine, they will need proper protection and care to enjoy them. As with all my ads, it will be placed in it's own plastic sleeve and carefully packaged when shipping.

A beautiful piece of history to frame! Photo is of actual ads being sold. All ads are packed soundly for shipping to ensure safe and undamaged arrival.

All sales are final. Please inspect the photo of items provided to determine condition and suitability for your purchase.

All magazine ads, articles, and road tests are genuine items taken from a real magazine, and are NOT reprints. All are in very good to fine used condition, and may show signs of their age. I do my best to select items that would indeed be suitable for framing, items that I would frame for my own use.

Thu, 05 Dec 2013

By Damion Smy First Official Pictures 05 December 2013 05:00 It’s taken fifty years, but the Ford Mustang will be officially on sale in the UK for the first time next year, sporting V8 and – gulp – four-cylinder engines. Crucially, though, the Flying Ford will be offered in right-hand drive and will come with proper, grown-up independent rear suspension. ‘In Europe we want it to be seen as a credible sports car, and second, that the Mustang and the rest of our range be held in higher opinion,’ says Ford COO Mark Fields.

Alfa Romeo 8C, Maserati Quattroporte and GranTurismo recalled

Mon, 20 May 2013

Owners of 2005-2008 Maserati Quattroportes, 2008 GranTurismos, and the 2008 Alfa Romeo 8C should expect to hear from dealers soon as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued a recall this past week. The recall is for tie-rod ends that have insufficient corrosion protection, which then leads to rust and weakening of the units. This unit could fail completely, causing the driver of the vehicle to lose control.
