When you install most aftermarket headers, it moves the oxygen sensor bungs towards the rear of the car, farther from the factory harness, so an extension is required. The oddly named Spicup, standing for Spider and Coupé, was first presented at the 1969 Geneva Motor Show. Carozzeria Bertone had previous collaborations with BMW such as the 3200CS coupe by Giugiaro. The friendship between Nuccio Bertone and Willhelm Hoffmeister, head of bodywork construction at BMW, must have also contributed to the brand agreeing to provide an early pre-production of the E3 generation 2500 saloon as a base for the concept.

Aston Martin Racing is offering for sale two pedigreed race cars for display -- both sporting the legendary Gulf Oil livery -- for the low, low price of $379,300 each, converted today from British pounds. The V8 Vantage GTE chassis No. X2 competed at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2012.

In the video session Adams offered advice to one participant who asked, "If there was one piece of advice you would give to someone wanting to become a designer, what would it be and why?". With portfolios, he explained, it's not just about the talent, it's about having the ability to convey your thought process along the way.
