OBX STAINLESS STEEL EXHAUST SYSTEM This auction is for a brand new stainless steel exhaust system for the 2007-2009 Volvo C30 T5. This will fit both the version 1 and version 2 C30 with OEM bumper (you will need to trim bumper to clear the quad tip design) and will fit the aftermarket "thor" body kit. OBX performance exhaust systems are as rugged and reliable as the vehicle you drive. This exhaust system is made from 304 stainless steel for strength and durability and utilizes a resonated design for best possible flow while still providing a smooth, deep tone outside of the vehicle. All OBX exhaust systems are factory-checked for proper fitment and dyno-tested to verify performance gains. Cutting the factory exhaust pipe for installation is required. Jaguar to invest £200 million in F-Type production at Castle Bromwich
Fri, 04 May 2012Jaguar F-Type - to be built at an expanded Castle Bromwich Jaguar Land Rover are planning to invest £200 million expanding their Castle Bromwich plant to launch production of the new Jaguar F-Type. Jaguar Land Rover has revived sales across both the Jaguar and Land Rover ranges, but it’s Land Rover that’s driving sales – particularly with the new Evoque. JLR are seeking to emulate the enormous success the Evoque is enjoying at Land Rover by launching the new F-Type at Jaguar, and are planning to invest £200 million expanding the Castle Bromwich plant to make sure the Jaguar F-Type doesn’t suffer production problems.
Giugiaro honored in Korean ceremony
Thu, 15 Dec 2011Giorgetto Giugiaro has received honors from the South Korean Government for his contribution to the nation's fledgling automotive industry. In a ceremony in Seoul, Giugiaro received the prestigious 'Order of Merit' from the President of the Republic of Korea, Lee Myung-bak. The relationship between Italdesign Giugiaro and Korea stretches back to the 1970s, a period of significant growth for the Korean nation, stifled only by its lackluster automotive industry. It fell to the Italian designer to invigorate an industry that survived on reassembling and rebranding foreign domestic models. Giugiaro's solution was the simple Hyundai Pony.
