This is done by using a super small .4mm diamter full iridium core electrode with a v-groove ground electrode. This super small center electrode provides superior ignition performance during acceleration and top crusing RPM. The v-groove design creates a larger and brighter flame kernal and in conjunction with the electrode helps reduce quenching. Designed for durability under the most extreme conditions, OBX spark plugs have been tested to last 60,000 miles on stock engines, but also work great for modified engines pushing higher horsepower than stock. Chevrolet touts the 2012 Sonic's 40-mpg highway rating
Thu, 15 Sep 2011With an EPA-rated 40 mpg on the highway, Chevrolet is calling its 2012 Sonic one of the most fuel-efficient small cars on the market. Chevy says that 40-mpg rating puts the Sonic right on par with the 2012 Ford Fiesta and the Hyundai Accent in terms of eco-friendliness. In city driving, the 1.4-liter turbocharged Ecotec engine gets 29 mpg.

The Google Glass-like 3E prototype can connect to the Internet in real-time, allowing users to overlay information onto the lens, record projected images and communicate with others by sending information to their device. This is likely to include vehicle performance analysis and the driver's vital signs as well as social media feeds for increased connectivity if its recently released Nismo smartwatch is anything to go by.
