You are purchasing a very good used chrome fuel door/cover for the Jaguar XJ6, XJ12 Series III (1979-92).
We are not sure if this is right or left side, you can match it to yours by the way the key cover opens.
This cover is in very good condition, the chrome is very good, no pitting or rust, and the push latch next to the key door opens easily. We photographed the inside so you can see it is not damaged. The 3rd photo shows the flap leading to the gas filler neck is intact and spring loaded closed.
There is no key but the latch is in the open position so it is usable. You might be able to remove the tumbler and replace it with yours if you need this to lock.
