You are purchasing a good used original Equipment Lucas starter for the Austin Healey Sprite (1963-69) MG Midget (1963-76) Sunbeam Alpine (1971) and Arrow (1972-73), Triumph Herald (1962-66), Spitfire (1963-75), GT6 (1967-73) and 2000 (1964-67). We tested it and it works. This is model M35J. It is stamped Lucas 25149 dated 1975 on the body. The teeth are good and overall it is very clean and the paint is good. This is being sold outright with no core charge. From a vintage British inventory, Lucas part number on the body 25149. Photos are the actual part. Because of the weight, this has to ship Priority Mail International for our international buyers. Local pick up is welcome.

Barclays bids bye-bye to 'Boris Bikes'
Wed, 11 Dec 2013BARCLAYS is to end its sponsorship of the so-called Boris Bikes, introduced by London Mayor Boris Johnson to the capital in 2010. The bank's logo has adorned the blue cycles since their introduction three years ago.But Transport for London (TfL) will be forced to look for a new sponsor after Barclays announced plans to discontinue with the deal at the end of its contract in 2015. The bikes were launched amid much fanfare in August 2010, with nearly a million journeys made within the first 10 weeks of the scheme being rolled out.
