You are purchasing a good used original SMITHS tachometer for the Jaguar XJ6, 4.2, 1979 to Aug 1987 for USA, Canada and Japan.
This is an electric guage.
This is a very good gauge, it has been tested and it runs smoothly. The face is dark black and the numbers are white. The red area by 5000 RPM has very true colours. It has the 2 indicator lenses along the bottom edge of the face. The black painted rim is very good. There is very slight rust on the casing.
It is Smiths part number RVC2615/00F and that is on the face of the gauge. It measures 4 1/8" across the front rim and 3 5/8" across the back of the case. Jaguar part number DAC1338.

University of Huddersfield Degree Show 2010
