Volkswagen Golf Estate Bluemotion stars at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show

2013 is the year of the Golf – and at this year’s 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, there’s even more for Volkswagen to shout about with its super-frugal Golf Estate Bluemotion. The current MK7 VW Golf is the 2013 World Car of the Year, and in 2013 Volkswagen has already released the brilliant Golf GTI, practical Golf Estate and ultra-efficient Golf Bluemotion. Renault has unveiled its new Symbol family saloon at the 2012 Istanbul Motor Show. The new five-seater Symbol features the carmaker's latest design cues such as the larger front logo that sits in a more upright position in the middle of a wide, black and chrome-trimmed grille strip. Another black chrome-trimmed grille strip that integrates the fog lamps is located underneath the license plate while the headlamps taper slightly into the side.

Jaguar F-Type Coupe and F-Type R Coupe revealed We finally get the reveal of the Jaguar F-Type Coupe in Los Angeles, but we also get the debut of the F-Type we thought we might have to wait longer for – the Jaguar F-Type R Coupe. Whilst the F-Type Coupe and S Coupe get the same familiar V6 Supercharged engines as the F-Type Roadster, the new F-Type R gets Jaguar’s ‘R’ V8 S/C with 542bhp, a 0-60 mph of 4.0 seconds and a limited top speed of 186 mph. That means the F-Type Coupe makes the jump from the two V6 versions straight to the V8 R, missing out the regular V8 S/C found in the Roadster, but at £85,000 the F-Type R Coupe is just £5k more than the V8 S Roadster and looks a hugely promising offering.
