You are purchasing a very good used Original Equipment Jaeger water temp / oil gauge (safety) for the MGB 1962-67, MG Midget 64-67 and Austin Healey Sprite 1964 -67.

This has been tested and it works correctly. We put the sensor in a MGB radiator and ran it up to 180 degrees and compared it to the temp gauge in the car (photo 4 and 5).

The face is dark and the letters and  numbers are nice and white. The chrome rim is very good. The case shows very little rust. Comes with the mounting bracket with the opening for the light socket (which is on your wiring harness) and 2 thumb nuts. The red bar is camera fault and not on the gauge.

A presentable gauge that works correctly.

From a vintage British inventory, part number GD1501/01 and that number is the gauge face.

Photos are the actual gauge.

Always happy to combine shipping.

NHTSA investigates Ford Super Duty for steering problem

Mon, 13 May 2013

Federal U.S. safety officials are investigating about 340,000 copies of the 2008 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty pickup trucks for a reported steering problem. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has received five complaints that an internal failure of the steering gear box results in a complete loss of steering control.

Lexus LFA (w/ Gallery)

Mon, 26 Oct 2009

Lexus presented the LFA at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show last week, the culmination of four years and two show cars. The new front-mid engined supercar is skinned in carbon-fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP), which, aside from being both lightweight and strong, also enabled greater freedom to create shapes, curves and edges. Seen in the flesh, however, the white bodycolor did the LFA few favors, though this choice may have more to do with slighting Acura - the last NSX, the Type-R, was also white with a red and black interior.

Datsun Go boldly goes downmarket

Tue, 16 Jul 2013

The Datsun Go (pictured) has been revealed in India We’ve know since March that Nissan was adding an extra brand name to its portfolio – to add to Nissan and Infiniti – by reaching back in its history to bring the Datsun brand back to life, and we got the first image of what we now know is the Datsun Go at the start of July. Having spent a fortune eradicating Datsun from the minds of buyers and replacing it with Nissan, Nissan are now working to make car buyers in emerging markets fall for the new Datsun Go in the way the UK  did for the first Datsun Sunny in the 1970s. So we get the Datsun Go which is, to all intents and purposes, a Nissan Micra with all the fripperies removed and pitched – initially at least – at the budget end of the car market in India where it will go up against cars like the Hyundai i10 and cost under £5,000 which, entirely coincidentally, is the starting price for the i10.
