Brand:Chrysler Surface Finish:Chrome Manufacturer Part Number:4126860 Warranty:No Other Part Number:46430 Country/Region of Manufacture:United States Placement on Vehicle:Left, Right, Front, Rear

This listing is for ONE (1) used center cap correct for the optional "snowflake" alloy wheels offered on the 1981-83 Dodge Diplomat, Chrysler 5th Avenue and Chrysler Imperial models.  This cap does NOT have a center "jewel" like the caps that were used on the Imperials (it probably came from a Diplomat), but it is otherwise the same cap.  All of the small metal retaining clips are in place on the back side (see photos).  This cap will snap on tight just as intended.   Chrome plating could stand to be cleaned up a bit, but it doesnt look too bad for its age.  Not a bad used item, but definitely not perfect.  If using this cap on anything nicer than a daily driver, please plan on restoring it.  This style cap is next to impossible to find in any condition.  Dont let it get away!  This item is USED and over 30 years old.  It is NOT a new or show quality item!  Please understand that all used items are sold AS-IS with no refunds, no returns and no exchanges.  Please address any and all questions or concerns PRIOR to purchase.  You buy it, you own it.  Please purchase accordingly!!!  Thanks for looking!

Great Americans: 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T

Thu, 04 Jul 2013

The classic Dodge Challenger's most famous movie role was the 1971 box-office success "Vanishing Point." A pastiche of man vs. society, a legendary staple in classic narrative -- as exemplified by such works as "1984," "Fahrenheit 451," "Charlotte's Web," Idiocracy -- "Vanishing Point" was a movie made by those who commonly styled themselves as "auteurs," making a "film" for the corporate overlords at Warner Brothers, who just happened to land themselves some brand-new Chrysler products and ultimately went on to create, as the DVD reissue box art that I found in the $5 movie bin at Wal-Mart claims, "the ultimate car chase movie!" The movie is rife for philosophical introspection, performed as it is by Philosophy 132 majors needing to pass their Humanities requirement and who couldn't find any more copies of "American Beauty" at their local Best Buy. So, ignore the movie.

The BMW X6 M50d – or whatever convoluted moniker BMW decides to attach toi their diesel-powered M X6 – is certainly getting the full force of the BMW new product tease machine. Ignoring the real leaks about a diesel-powered X6, we’ve already had one video tease for the new X6 M50d, with the X6 blatting around mountain roads with the important bits blurred out.
