Frankfurt Motor Show 2009 Preview
Thu, 20 Aug 2009The Frankfurt Motor Show 2009 runs from 17th -27th September to the public Many of the Japanese makers will be conspicuous by their absence, but that should be more than made up for by the launches from the big European makers. And of course the Koreans – in the guise of Hyundai and Kia – will do what they’re starting to do in the market place and fill the gap left by the Japanese. Fiat 500L – Production version of Elle-Zero at Geneva 2012
Sat, 28 Jan 2012The Fiat ElleZero becomes the Fiat 500L for production Fiat has confirmed that the Elle-Zero will debut at the Geneva Motor Show as the Fiat 500L Compact MPV. Earlier this month we reported that Fiat were heading to the Geneva Motor Show in March with a new compact MPV – the Fiat Elle-Zero, which they are. But instead of using the code name for the new mini MPV as the production moniker, they’ve decided the new car will join the 500 family as the Fiat 500L.
Ferrari will launch first hybrid in 2013
Wed, 25 Apr 2012Ferrari will offer its first gasoline-electric hybrid system in 2013. The technology will be featured in the as-yet-unnamed car that will replace the limited-edition Enzo. "We are entering the market with our Formula One-derived hybrid system, which will slash fuel consumption and increase performance," Ferrari CEO Amedeo Felisa told Automotive News Europe on the sidelines of the Beijing motor show.
