Hyundai reveals Zombie apocalypse Veloster at Comic-Con

Hyundai is continuing its collaboration with “The Walking Dead” TV show at Comic-Con this year in San Diego. The company revealed a second Zombie-proof vehicle, and this time it’s a Veloster. The orange hatchback was outfitted by Galpin Auto Sports in California as well as media company Future US.

Tesla touts top sales at Detroit auto show

Tesla credits the "exceptional cold weather performance" of its Model S for 20 percent-higher-than-expected Q4 sales of 6,900 units, bringing total Model S sales worldwide to 25,000 so far. In fact, Tesla says its sedan does so well in the snow that the rear wheels are the only ones that need any torque. Hyundai will launch Veloster Turbo in 2012

Hyundai has confirmed it will bring a 1.6 turbo version of the Veloster coupe to the UK in the second half of 2012, as first revealed by CAR. It should make an interesting alternative to the VW Golf GTI brigade. The new blown four-cylinder engine is called the Gamma 1.6 T-GDI by Hyundai - and it develops an unusually high specific output of 201bhp at 6000rpm and 196lb ft at just 1750rpm.
