ITEM DESCRIPTION: Okay, here we have an original GM OEM center console map pocket. This goes inside your console and was designed to hold paper maps, but since most people no longer use them, many use this to hold Kindles, iPad and iPhone type items, etc. The usable INTERIOR space on this pocket is approximately 6.25" across the inside bottom by 7.75" from top to bottom. Across the top is wider, since this tapers at the bottom. Pulled from a 1976 Firebird. Your console is NOT complete without this hard plastic pocket. Did you know that the cheap reproductions of this part is missing the metal tabs that protect and strengthen the fragile plastic mount holes? Something to consider. Note that we DO NOT guarantee electrical or any other parts, period. There are no returns, partial or full refunds, or exchanges on any items. Toyota GT 86 gets 320bhp from turbo & S/C upgrade

Gazoo GT 86 Sport FR Concept Toyota’s Gazoo Racing has taken the standard Toyota GT 86 and added a turbo and a supercharger to give the GT 86 320bhp. The Toyota GT86 has managed to deliver almost what we expected now it’s finally arrived, although many have been a bit disappointed at its peaky performance and lack of out and out grunt. There’s been much speculation that Toyota (and Subaru with the BRZ) would bite the bullet at some point and bolt on a turbo or supercharger to give the lightweight sports car a proper turn of speed.

Will the 2012 M5 get four wheel drive? Now there’s something to cogitate on for BMW M5 fruitcakes. Autocar are reading a comment by BMW’s head of R&D, Albert Biermann, that “…there will be some all-wheel-drive surprises on M cars in the future.” as evidence that BMW are going to do the almost unthinkable and offer 4WD as an option on the 2012 BMW M5.

Mercedes ML63 AMG gets a tweak

The very slightly tweaked 2011 Mercedes ML63 AMG Somehow, the Mercedes ML63 AMG doesn’t quite make it in to our heads when we thing of barking mad, ‘too powerful for their own good’ SUVs. Top of that list is filled by the Porsche Cayenne Turbo with the BMW X5M and X6M bringing up the reserve position. But we should consider it.
