ITEM DESCRIPTION: Okay, here we have an original GM OEM evaporative canister for your emissions system. THIS IS NOT A VACUUM CANISTER as many people call it. This was pulled from a 1979 Trans Am equipped with a RARE 301 engine (WS6 package and all the goodies)--with only 57k miles on it. Let's say this is as close to a new part as you may get for a used one. And when it comes to the required emissions, you REALLY want to find a nice one of these so you will pass that tough California smog check every 2 years. We believe this is correct for 1977-1981 Firebird, Formula, Trans Am, and possibly ONLY for those models equipped with the RARE 301 engine, which is what this had. The 301 was only offered from 1977-1981. And if you are going strictly by codes, it's even possible it's only correct for the 1979 with 301. However, it LOOKS identical to other Firebirds equipped with the 5-Nipple canisters. Note this one has TWO MOUNT brackets on bottom as well as one of the bolts needed to install. Condition is just super nice and clean as you can see. Note that we DO NOT guarantee electrical or any other parts, period. There are no returns, partial or full refunds, or exchanges on any items. We do not sell REPRODUCTION parts--every part in this listing is original manufacturer equipment. We have not applied any treatment or conditioners to any items, you are viewing them in their actual condition. Great item from a trusted eBay seller. We use the camera flash to highlight all details and flaws. Better than the cheezy repros made in China (if they even make this part repro). With all vintage and/or used items, please expect to see signs or age and use related wear. Please CALL US 209 538 3935 if you have specific questions about this item! We are HAPPY to help ALWAYS!

Citroen to launch '3CV' plus DS3 cabrio, DS4 SUV, DS6

Mon, 24 Oct 2011

Citroen is working on a '3CV', a radical new entry-level model positioned between C1 and C3. Imagine the previous C2 pepped up by the glittery polish that's made the DS3 such a success, and you're not far off Citroen's new city car vision. Known inhouse as Citroen Trois Chevaux (3CV), it reportedly captures the spirit of the quirky Ami 6, draws on the space efficiency of the 2CV and mimics the ride comfort of the hydropneumatically sprung GS.
