Roof rack is complete as shown, with all the parts and pieces having been removed from the all original donor vehicle. Surface rust on screws and little hardware parts, you may want to replace those since they are so cheap. Plastic gasket pieces in great FLEXIBLE shape, may have minor flaws to end tabs, but super nice shape and working perfectly as designed. ITEM DESCRIPTION:CLOSE OUT ITEM FOR PICKUP ONLY! Okay, here we have an original roof top luggage rack, or ROOF RACK pulled from a 1977 Buick Estate Wagon. This will FIT and we believe is CORRECT FOR (but you research before buying!) 1977-1990 GM full size wagons such as Chevy Impala, Olds 88 or Custom Cruiser, Buick Estate and Base Wagon, possibly others. Includes all metal parts, all plastic parts and all the hardware that were removed from the all original donor vehicle. We do not believe the hardware has been altered or replaced, and it all appears to be complete. But it's possible some of the screws may be different, not a big deal. The important parts are there and in great shape, but you may want to replace the screws and hardware so you start with fresh, unrusted pieces since it's cheap to replace. These are VERY hard for us to find complete for some reason.

APPROXIMATE DIMENSIONS (please allow for variances, since we are humans): Overall Length 70 inches. Overall Width up to 45 inches (because this moves when not mounted, it was impossible to get a stable number, sorry). Distance between feet mounting holes, center of hole to center of hole 4 inches. Front to back Length from farthest feet mounting holes to farthest 56.75 inches (this is how far apart the farthest front-to-back mounting holes will be on your roof, approximately). The skinny chrome strips are in 3 graduated lengths in the 66 inches give and take range, mirroring the way the rack struts are shaped. The roof rack has been packed for shipping, there are not other measurements we can take.

We do not sell REPRODUCTION parts--every part in this listing is original manufacturer equipment. We do not guarantee or warranty auto parts. We have not applied any treatment or conditioners to any items, you are viewing them in their actual condition. Vintage parts are always better than the cheezy repros made in China (if they even make this part repro). With all vintage and/or used items, please expect to see signs or age and use related wear. Buyer responsible to determine their own correct fitment and vehicle application. Buyer must do their own research before buying to determine if the info here is correct. Please email if you have specific questions about this item! We are HAPPY to help ALWAYS!

Fiat-Chrysler: A match made for enthusiasts

Fri, 17 Jul 2009

The Fiat-Chrysler marriage means big love for auto enthusiasts in the United States. Here's a quick rundown on some of the Fiat hardware we got a chance to sample during a recent visit to the company's headquarters and test track in Italy. Fiat 500: With styling that makes it look like the spawn of a Volkswagen Beetle and a BMW Mini Cooper, the 500 does an Italian job on both competitors: It's cuter than a Beetle, and likely less expensive than a comparable Mini.

Range Rover Evoque Service Pack: 5 years servicing for £499

Thu, 09 May 2013

But it’s not just that buyers of new cars are keen on the idea of long warranties and fixed (or inclusive) service packs that drive car makers to offer better warranties and Service Pack deals, but that offering them keeps the new car buyer inside the dealer network with all the opportunities that potentially presents for up-selling and new car pitching. So the news that Land Rover has decided to dip its collective foot in the water of fixed cost servicing is no surprise, and the offer’s a fairly decent one – a Service Pack for the Range Rover Evoque costs just £499. For your ‘Monkey’ upfront you get all the regular servicing needs of your new Evoque done and dusted for 5 years (or 50,000 miles on the petrol Evoque and 60,000 miles on the diesel).
