Driven: BMW i8
Thu, 17 Jul 2014When BMW unveiled the Vision EfficientDynamics concept at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show, we wrote: "for our money, it's the first time a major carmaker has really attempted to communicate ‘green' technology in an aesthetic sense." A stainless steel bar splits the broad grille horizontally at the base of the sleek hood, which is raked with lines and air intake vents.

Of course, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen the replacement for the Mercedes CLS.
