Fresh from a barn in Maine. This is a really sweet little item here. This is a very nice OEM Harley Davidson Panhead footshift lever cover for the 1952 and later Panheads running a hand clutch/foot shift set up. This is not damaged at all and is ready to mount just as it is. These chrome is in need of a good cleaning and polishing, but otherwise this part is in great condition for 60 plus years, (almost as old as me). This is a fine example of an early part. Skoda Yeti Laurin & Klement adds gloss to the Yeti
Mon, 21 Jan 2013Skoda has revealed a range-topping Yeti SUV – the Yeti Laurin & Klement – with extra equipment over the Yeti Elegance. It might sounds like a firm of solicitors, but Laurin & Klement (Václav Laurin and Václav Klement) are the founders of what is now SKODA and Skoda use their names to badge their range-topping cars, hence the Skoda Yeti Laurin & Klement. The Yeti Laurin & Klement starts off as a Yeti Elegance before Skoda bolt on £4,000 worth of extra goodies, and you can have it only as a 4WD with the 1.8-litre TSI 160PS, 2.0-litre TDI CR 140PS DSG or 2.0-litre TDI CR 170PS engines.
Vauxhall Ampera price cut by £3,500
Tue, 10 Sep 2013The Vauxhall Ampera (pictured) drops in price by £3500 Although we still feel the range-extender is the right way for car makers to go to get the car buying public to accept EVs, the range-extender Vauxhall Ampera has not exactly been a runaway success. Despite Vauxhall offering potential Ampera buyers the option of trying it for 30 days and handing it back if they don’t like it, the Ampera has failed miserably to sell in any sort of volume. So, with new competition on the way from the range-extender BMW i3, Vauxhall are taking drastic action to try and tempt buyers in to the Ampera and are slashing prices by £3,500.
