Fresh from a barn in Maine.  This is a really sweet little item here.  This is a very nice OEM Harley Davidson Panhead footshift lever cover for the 1952 and later Panheads running a hand clutch/foot shift set up.  This is not damaged at all and is ready to mount just as it is.  These chrome is in need of a good cleaning and polishing, but otherwise this part is in great condition for 60 plus years, (almost as old as me).  This is a fine example of an early part.  Thank you for looking and please check my other auctions for more old HARLEY parts.

Festival of Speed: onboard with David Coulthard up the Goodwood hill

Mon, 23 Jun 2014

If you’re able to arrive early enough on Thursday for Goodwood’s Moving Motor Show you might just be able to book yourself a slot to drive up the famous hillclimb course with one of the many manufacturers displaying their cars. Few mere mortals get the opportunity to drive up the hallowed tarmac at Goodwood – it’s more often reserved for F1 aces and motorsport heroes, such as a certain David Coulthard. In this video from Mercedes-Benz, DC takes us on a guided tour up the hillclimb, corner by corner behind the wheel of a suitably glam Merc SLS Black Series.

Ford Iosis Max unveiled at Geneva motor show 2009

Mon, 02 Mar 2009

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 02 March 2009 18:00 Ford is serving up a big-bang surprise at Geneva with the launch of the Iosis Max concept car. The third in a series of Iosis show cars, the Max affords our first view of the new 2011 Ford Focus, with a hint of next-gen 2010 C-Max thrown in for good measure.  The Iosis Max looks just like the next-gen Focus at the front and heralds some important new styling treatments for all future Fords, its designers have told CAR. The lower trapezoidal grille, for instance, will in future feature these horizontal chromed strakes, echoing the feature lines on the bonnet, and the Blue Oval badge appears more prominently in the middle of the higher, Fiesta-style grille.

Mercedes G-Class: BA3 Final Edition Swansong

Sat, 07 May 2011

The Mercedes G350 BlueTEC BA3 Final Edition - the end of an era The word ‘Iconic’ is bandied around far too much when it comes to cars. We’re probably as guilty as the next pack of hacks of attaching iconic to anything that’s been around for a while. But few would argue it’s not an epithet the Mercedes G-Class warrants.
