Tesla offers finance deal on Model S

Tesla Motors has joined forces with USBank and Wells Fargo Bank to create vehicle financing and leasing products that allow consumers to lease a Model S electric sedan for a net payment of about $500 a month after a 10 percent down payment and calculated savings. The 10 percent down payment often will be covered by federal and state tax credits available on electric vehicles. However, the $500 a month payment is an "effective" monthly payment.

Horror crash drivers offered training course

POLICE who found enough evidence to prosecute 32 motorists following a 150-car pile-up have offered to send them on a driver alertness course instead. A senior police officer said handing the drivers a chance to go on the course would be more beneficial than putting them before the courts. The decision to spare drivers prosecution follows a four-month investigation by specialist collision investigators and case review staff from Kent Police.

It produces 237bhp, up from 205bhp in the 2.7, yet fuel economy and CO2 both improve by around 15%.What's new on Citroen's 3.0-litre V6 HDI?The V6 gets a third generation common-rail injection system, a diesel particulate filter system and an alternator that recovers energy during braking.Both C5 and C6 3.0 HDI V6 models average 38mpg and emit 195g/km of CO2.The V6 turbodiesel was jointly developed by Ford (when it owned Jaguar Land Rover) and PSA Peugeot Citroen and is built in the Blue Oval's Dagenham, UK, diesel facility.
