Ford scores tumble, Toyota rebounds in Initial Quality survey

Buyer satisfaction with new cars and trucks from Ford Motor Co., a strength that has helped it increase sales and market share in recent years, has tumbled, and Toyota has rebounded from its abnormally poor year-ago showing, according to a study released Thursday. In a J.D. Power and Associates survey that tracks problems reported during the first 90 days of ownership, the Ford and Lincoln brands plunged below the industry average of 107 problems reported per 100 models studied.

New Subaru WRX revealed in LA The new Subaru WRX – the one that may or may not come to the UK – has been revealed today at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The WRX gets a new structure – and a four door saloon shape only – with a stiffer chassis, new electronic power steering and a new engine. Repair work to hit key road route

A KEY ROAD ROUTE into London will be affected by closures at some weekends next summer for the completion of repair work. The summer 2014 work will be on the Hammersmith Flyover on the A4 in west London. Before that, there will be night-time lane closures starting next month as the final phase of work to strengthen the flyover's 16 spans begins.
