- We firmly believe that packaging materials are simply the cost of doing business and not the cost of purchasing an item. Much the same way you are not charged for bags at your local grocery store. With that principal in mind we insure that the costs you pay for shipping are accurate and actual. Many of our items are offered with free, flat rate or calculated shipping with zero up-charge for the materials. To provide this service we work with local retailers to re-use some packaging supplies. This includes boxes, packaging peanuts, air packs and polystyrene foam. These materials are supplemented with new materials to provide a safe, sturdy and secure shipment vessel for every item.

 

- Shipping insurance is not automatically included with your purchase unless otherwise noted. Insurance can be added and is recommended for items fragile in nature. If insurance is desired please contact us before paying for your items. We will adjust the shipping costs to reflect the addition of insurance and provide you with an invoice reflecting the change.

 

- If your package arrives damaged, you must take it to your local shipping location immediately to file a damage claim. We are happy to assist you with your claim by filing statements regarding the original packaging. We are unable to file the claim on your behalf. The best evidence you have is the damaged item and packaging itself. To help increase your chances of a successful claim, do not throw either away.

 

- International shipping can be accommodated, please inquire for the details and pricing before bidding. We will not falsify customs forms.

- Returns -

 

- We respect the fact that an item might not be exactly what you expected upon its arrival. For this reason we will happily accept returns within a 14 day period. This period begins when your item is delivered. Please be sure to inspect your items and notify us of your intent to return them as soon as possible.

 

- When notifying us of your intent to return an item please include a description of why you would like to send the item back. If an item is defective, please tell us how and why it is defective. If you simply don’t like it, that’s OK. Statements such as ‘broken item, send refund’ or threatening remarks will not be addressed as series attempts to return an item.

 

- Please ship your returns promptly. All returns must be postmarked within 14 calendar days of their initial delivery. This period begins when your item is delivered. Your return package must have a tracking number, this tracking number must be emailed to us via the eBay messaging system. This will help to protect you in the unlikely event it becomes lost or undeliverable.

 

- ALL returns must be packed properly insuring the safety of the item upon its return. If you are careful when opening our packaging you will be able to re-use it if needed. The item you are returning must be in same condition as it was originally shipped.

Fisker Automotive lays off some workers as government reworks loan

Work on the Fisker Nina family sedan has temporarily halted at the Fisker Automotive plant in Wilmington, Del., while the carmaker and the federal government hash out details of the company's $529 million Department of Energy loan. The interruption has resulted in the layoff of 26 people at its Delaware plant and a number of contract engineers at Fisker's Anaheim, Calif., headquarters. Fisker Automotive said some of the engineering-staff reductions in Anaheim were already planned to occur in between development of the Karma and the Nina.

THE SKODA SUPERB Estate has been crowned Tow Car of the Year by the Caravan Club, beating off competition from 40 other entrants including Range Rover and Jaguar. Commenting on the Superb’s ability, the judges remarked: ‘With a loading limit of 100kg on the roof, 80kg on the towball and a boot that scored maximum marks, it’s a very tough act to follow. You wouldn’t know you were towing a caravan.’ Skoda also won the £16,000-£20,000 category with the new Octavia 1.2 TSI, which was praised for its pulling power with such a small engine.
