Yes, Volvo are busy downsizing their engines and trying to up the quality perception of their cars at the same time, in an aim to join the proper premium club inhabited by the likes of BMW, Mercedes, Audi and Jaguar. A replacement for the Honda NSX (or Acura NSX for the US) has been on and off for years. But we knew the new NSX Concept was coming to Detroit and we thought it would have a passing resemblance to the Tony Stark car in the New Avengers.

The new 3-piece metal folding roof can be tucked away in a mere 20 seconds at the flick of a switch, with better noise insulation than the M3 Convertible had and more room in the boot when the roof is down too.
