Up for your consideration is this used Nissan door speaker.  It came out of a 2006 Maxima. The donor car was a collision total, not a fire or flood victim.

With the exception of the suspension foam, this speaker is in like new condition.  The suspension foam is slightly deformed from improper installation of the door card at some time, perhaps from original assembly. Please see the third picture. This deformity doesn’t affect performance in any way.

The Mazda part number is 281567Y300 or 28156-7Y300.

It fits select Nissan Altima, Armada, Maxima, Pathfinder and Quest models from 2003 to 2016.  This speaker is for vehicles with the Bose audio option.   I take no responsibility for what may happen if used outside the application for which this part was designed for.

Besides the speaker, I am including the three mounting screws. No other attachment hardware or wiring is included.

As with most of my listings, I will cover the cost of priority shipping.

I do not borrow pictures, so the item you see in the pictures is the item you will receive if you choose to purchase.

I apologize for the quality of some of the pictures, but I am not a photographer.

If you have any questions regarding this item, please feel free to ask.

Thanks for looking.

CES: Mercedes-Benz boss talks technology

Fri, 13 Jan 2012

Mercedes-Benz boss Dieter Zetsche characteristically seemed to enjoy his status as a car guy amid the computer nerds at the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show. “I just came from Detroit yesterday, where some people consider consumer electronics to be a mere accessory to the car, and now I am here at CES where some people think the car is a mere accessory to the consumer electronics,” he said in a keynote speech on Tuesday at the event. Zetsche introduced mbrace2, the second generation of the Mercedes-Benz mbrace (pronounced “embrace”) system.

Chrysler to close Pacifica Advanced Design Studios

Sun, 09 Mar 2008

The 20 designers at Chrysler's Pacifica Advanced Design Studios in Carlsbad, California will soon be finding themselves out of a job. The struggling North American automaker announced the closure of the facility on Friday, stating that the company is ‘leveraging resources worldwide, forming new joint ventures and alliances and consolidating operations in order to better achieve global balance.' Responsible for many of the more successful designs hailing from Chrysler in recent times, including the Chrysler 300 sedan and the new Dodge Challenger musclecar, the Pacifica Advanced Product Design Center also yielded the Nassau concept car and the Pacifica crossover – bearing the same name as the west coast studios in which it was created. The work done at the Pacifica Advanced Design Center will be consolidated into the Advance Design function in Auburn Hills and continue to be led by Senior Vice President of Design, Trevor Creed.
