'Outside the Oval' art exhibition showcases Ford Australia design team's creativity

Members of Ford's Melbourne design team have created over 30 works of art for a new exhibition. Called Outside the Oval, the event is normally held internally, as an opportunity for the design team to explore creative pursuits that may have previously been limited to their spare time. However, this year it will be opened to the public for the first time, with artworks including sculpture, 2D paintings and digital art.

Umea Institute of Design degree show 2009

Masters students from Sweden's Umea Institute of Design recently exhibited their final-year projects at the university's annual degree show. Featuring the work of both graduating diploma students and those completing the first year of their MA in Transportation Design, this year's exhibition brought together a diverse range of themes, ranging from futuristic interpretations of existing brand DNA to new concepts in car production, usage and forms. Maserati Quattroporte (2013): the first official pictures

Maserati has unveiled the new 2013 Quattroporte – the luxury sports saloon which has been the mainstay of Modena since the current car's launch in 2004. The new Maserati Quattroporte will be shown at the 2013 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, with left-hand drive sales starting in spring 2013. However, right-hand drive UK sales of the new QP are unlikely to begin before June 2013.
