This is a genuine Daimler Chrysler SEAT BELT EXTENDER, or "extender seat belt assembly" as it says on the tag.  Please note that the seat belt extender is intended for use with the seat belt in a rear window seat of the vehicle, and should only be used if the seat belt does not fit without it. The extender should NOT be left attached and used by passengers who do not need the additional length. The extender adds about 8" to the length of the seat belt. This extender was used in a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and I don't know if it fits any other vehicle.  The extender is clean and used only a few times.

The extender itself is 10" from end to end, but of course when in use, the metal end of the extender fits into the the existing seat belt.   No installation required other than to plug the end of the extender into the existing seat belt. See photos for more detail.

New Michelin Premier A/S with EverGrip tyres promise better grip when worn and 60,000 miles

New Michelin Premier A/S with EverGrip tyres (pictured) promise better grip when worn and 60,000 miles We all know that tyres for a car don’t seem to last five minutes, and every mile you drive from new makes the tyres less effective. But Michelin reckon they’ve turned that logic on its head with their new Premier A/S with Evergrip. Due to launch in the US in spring – and hopefully the UK and Europe later in the year – the Michelin Premier A/S with EverGrip has new tyre technology that actually improves grip as the tyre wears, and promises 60,000 miles of useful life.

How Lexus execs rescued the GS sedan

Mon, 22 Aug 2011

Eighteen months ago, Toyota had all but scrapped its plans for the redesigned Lexus GS 350 sedan that was unveiled in Monterey, Calif., last week. At the time, the company was pouring engineering resources into resolving its unintended acceleration crisis and was busy changing quality and safety procedures. Plus, the GS' underwhelming sales in the United States and Europe made for a weak business case against the Mercedes E-class and BMW 5-series.

Suzuki Swift SZ-L Special Edition makes a ‘Swift’ return – price from £11,099

Suzuki Swift SZ-L Special Edition – price from £11,099 It was only in February that the Suzuki Swift SZ-L Special Edition arrived as a special offer Swift with cosmetic tweaks. And now it’s back. We did question why Suzuki were using a special edition name they’d rolled out before when the Swift SZ-L arrived in February, but it seems odd to relaunch it all over again just a few months later.
