The Ford Focus RS is about to get faster. Next week the Blue Oval will unveil a limited edition Focus RS500 with close to 350bhp. Ahead of the reveal Ford has launched microsite with a video of the RS500 being driven round its Lommel Proving Ground in Belgium.

Ford is using the concept behind its Sync technology to dramatically redo the appearance of its instrument panels and the manner in which drivers interact with their cars. Ford is revealing MyFord Touch at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, and the technology launches on the 2011 Ford Edge followed by global availability on the 2012 Focus. MyLincoln Touch will be standard on new Lincolns, starting with 2011 MKX.

The franchise was then owned by Accolade, and it featured the Lamborghini Countach, the Ferrari Testarossa, the Lotus Esprit Turbo, the Porsche 911 Turbo and the C4 Chevrolet Corvette. Though small, that's not a bad selection of cars for a title when video games we're just hitting their awkward adolescent phase.
