Tesla Model S - deliveries start in June Tesla Motors will deliver the first customer Tesla Model S cars to customer in the US in June as Tesla finally hits the make or break point. The Tesla Model S has been a long time coming, but Tesla now say that the first Model S cars will start to arrive with customers in the US in June, slightly ahead of schedule – which must be a first for Tesla. The first 1,000 deliveries will be of the range-topping Signature Series cars which come with the big 85kWh battery pack and lots of toys and cosmetic embellishments, but after that it’s regular Model S deliveries, although the cheaper versions with smaller battery packs and lower range won’t arrive until later.

Mini launches 'Inspired by Goodwood'

Mini has just held a launch party in Germany for the new ‘Mini inspired by Goodwood'. Unveiled at Pavillon 21 Mini Opera Space, a temporary mobile performance venue located on the Marstallplatz in Munich, the new trim level was developed by designers working in both the Mini and Rolls-Royce design studios. Finished in a cornsilk beige hue (a color typical of Roll-Royce interiors), the Mini Inspired by Goodwood's cabin exudes an air of sophistication found on premium, luxury products – right down to the lamb's wool carpeting.

New Aston Martin Lagonda super saloon confirmed

Aston Martin has confirmed the return of the famous Lagonda badge on a new car. But it won’t be a production version of the controversial Lagonda SUVconcept that appeared at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show. Instead Aston Martin is to build a bespoke "super saloon" as an exclusive limited edition.
