Honda CR-Z – Euro debut at Geneva

Honda are bringing the production version of the CR-Z hybrid to the Geneva Motor Show Honda are attempting to make the hybrid car ‘Sporty’ with the Honda CR-Z. First seen at the Tokyo Motor Show last year and in US production form at Detroit last month, Europe gets to see the Euro production version of the CR-Z at the Geneva Motor Show next month. We’re finding it a bit difficult to get our heads round the idea that this is a ‘Sporty’ hybrid.

2011 Volkswagen Jetta Revealed!

A larger, more upscale version of the Volkswagen Jetta was revealed on Monday for the 2011 model year. It will start nicely loaded at about $16,000 when it arrives in October. The powertrain lineup will consist of four engines, including a 2.0-liter turbodiesel making 236 lb-ft of torque.

One of the original retro cars, the Chrysler PT Cruiser, is getting the ax. Production ends this summer, Chrysler president Tom Lasorda confirmed last week. With its sinister styling that drew comparisons to 1930s gangster rides, the PT Cruiser was a hit when it was launched in 2000.
