Mercedes has finally built a very promising compact car in the new A Class, and is spreading the love with more to come on the same chassis like the swoopy coupe CLA. When he did appear, it was behind the wheel of one of three 'one lakh' cars being driven onto the stage. The 3000-strong audience of press and VIPs went beserk amid scenes of euphoria last witnessed at the Clinton comeback in New Hampshire.

The Jaguar F-Type Coupe (pictured) makes its UK debut on Sunday The star of the Los Angeles Auto Show – and now the star car in Jaguar’s lineup – was the very appealing Jaguar F-Type Coupe. And now the UK is about to get – a very limited – public viewing of Jaguar’s new |F-Type Coupe. This coming Sunday – the 8th December – sees the Jaguar Academy of Sport Annual Awards at the Royal Opera House in London and, apart from the Sports Stars, the star of the night will be the new Jaguar F-Type Coupe.
