Mini will unveil this steroidal version of the already beefy Cooper S at Geneva 2008 before opening the books in July, so get saving.  The Mini JCW extracts an extra 33bhp over the standard Cooper S by dumping the regular turbocharger and strapping on a bigger, twin-scroll unit.

New Lotus Elite (2014) Top Down I think we’ve just about got over the surprise of a New Lotus Elite dropping from a clear blue sky in the week before the Paris Motor Show. What we still haven’t completely got our heads around is the plethora of models subsequently revealed at the show itself. Mazda Miata roadster passes 900,000-built milestone

Mazda on Friday built its 900,000th MX-5 Miata, raising the bar on its Guinness World Record for best-selling two-seat sports car. The MX-5 Miata originally set the record in May 2000, when production reached 531,890 units. But the record was updated when production reached 700,000 units and again when production reached 800,000 units.
