This is a new old stock Stewart Warner oil pressure gauge and sender. These were part of a large collection of auto parts that my mother gave me when my father passed away 44 years ago. I have used many of the parts over the years and have decided to sell off the remainder as I am getting too old and no longer work on my cars. This gauge has some scratches on the chrome and discoloring of the metal from age and handling. The gauge is code dated M10 (October 1968).
Brand:Stewart Warner Surface Finish:Chrome Manufacturer Part Number:306BB/353S Country/Region of Manufacture:United States

This is a very nice Vintage Stewart Warner oil pressure and sender gauge set. It is of the Stewart Warner Green stripe design. This gauge is of a similar the type that was used in the Shelby's and Cobras the difference is that this gauge is externally illuminated and the Shelby/Cobra  is internally illuminated. If you are not a purest or building a clone this gauge would work just fine. This gauge has a diameter of 2 1/16".

Tue, 19 Oct 2010

Citroën's C_42 building on Paris' world famous Champs-Elysées has launched its new exhibition season, with an art car version of its Survolt concept by French artist Francoise Nielly. The use of fluorescent paint in her oil and knife portraits was inspired by a childhood spent in Southern France, where she chased butterflies in the bright Mediterranean sun. Her work has, in turn, inspired Citroën's designers, who cite Nielly's work as the influence behind the vibrant color highlights on the Survolt.
