Strate Collège Degree Show 2008

Strate Collège in central Paris held its annual Degree Show June 18-19, displaying works from students graduating from the Industrial Design programs. Twelve students from the Transportation Design program presented their work. Renault Clio

This is the new, fourth-generation Renault Clio and the first production car to feature the brand's new design language under Laurens van den Acker. Its grille and lamp graphics are a clear relation to the Dezir concept first shown in Paris 2010, while the rear feature lines and lamps have shades of the Captur concept. The new Clio will only be available in five-door format although its rear door handles are hidden in its C-pillars.

Manufacturers report 2013 sales boom

CAR MANUFACTURERS are reporting strong surges in sales for 2013, with one mainstream brand up by more than 55%. So far Ford, Vauxhall, Skoda, MG, Lexus, Renault, Audi and Mercedes have all reported excellent sales performance, with Mercedes having passed the 100,000 registrations per year mark for the first time in the UK. Largely thanks to the introduction of the Dacia brand this year, the Renault Group has seen a 55.3% rise in sales, to 63,319 units.
