It is made from 2mm aluminium plate, this kit is perfect for those who regularly 'track' their car or just want peace of mind when on the road. Oil starvation happens during hard cornering and heavy braking and is particularly common problem on track. This baffle prevents oil surges due to oil shifting caused by centrifugal forces. The kit contains 5 aluminium pieces formed to the necessary shapes to fit your original oil sump. After all the baffle pieces are test fitted into the sump, everything should be welded in permanently by a professional as shown on photos. It's a Passat estate in a Barbour and green wellies, its ride height hoiked up and with 4motion all-wheel drive boosting traction for soft-roading and pulling horseboxes over slippery grass. VW quotes a two-tonne towing capacity – 200kg greater than an equivalent Passat estate.

But that hasn’t stopped them reviving the moniker and attaching it to a new concept heading to Frankfurt – the electric Audi A2 Concept.
