Lamborghini LP560-4 Superleggera coming?

What appears to be a Lamborhgini LP560-4 Superleggera out testing But if the photo above is anything to go by it looks as if Lamborghini is planning a Superleggera version of the LP560-4 sooner rather than later. Which would work out pretty well for Lamborghini as they have rashly declared that they will deliver a new car at every road show, and with the replacement for the Murcielago cars – LP640/LP650-4/LP670-4 – still some way off, this could be a  good solution. They’ve run out of new cars for shows after revealing the Lamborghini Reventon Roadster this week at Frankfurt, so they need to get a bit of a hustle on before the next major show if they’re going to keep their promise.

Fiat 500X teaser video ahead of 2014 Paris motor show

Fiat has issued this Youtube video of its new 500X crossover, which is destined to launch the Italian brand into the compact SUV market dominated by the Nissan Juke. Although an annoyingly restricted view of the 500X, it is possible to make out the silhouette and outline of the baby crossover, which goes on sale in the UK in time for the new 15-reg launch in March 2015. The 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed is only four months away, and one of the highlights will be the Bonhams sale of the car collection of famed watch maker George Daniels, which includes a 1929 Bentley 4 1/2 Litre Supercharged Racing Single-Seater once owned by Tim Birkin in which he set the Brooklands Outer Circuit Lap Record in 1932 at 137mph. Tim Birkin was one of the fabled ‘Bentley Boys’ and George Daniels one of the most famous horologists in the world, and the sale of this Bentley 4 1/2 Litre ‘Blower’ is bound to attract a lot of attention and interest, with every expectation it could raise as much as £4 million.
