Peugeot 107 facelift (2012) unveiled

The Peugeot 107 gets a facelift for 2012 Peugeot has revealed a facelift for the 107, with new exterior styling, increased specification and reduced Co2.  The Peugeot 107 is a fun little city car, as we discovered when we reviewed the Peugeot 107 in 2010,  but it’s now getting towards the end of its life, with an all new car due in 2013. But to keep things fresh Peugeot has revealed a facelift for the 107 for 2012 to keep it selling through to the end of its life. That means a new nose, better interior and improved emissions and economy.

Buick Verano

The Buick Verano will become the GM brand's smallest model when launched at the upcoming NAIAS in Detroit. Based on the same Delta II platform as the Chevrolet Cruze and Opel/Vauxhall Astra, it is also visually related to the latter, albeit to a lesser degree than its larger Regal sibling is to the Opel/Vauxhall Insignia. In early 2013 Audi lost a case brought by the Advertising Standard Agency (ASA) because of ‘misleading’ fuel economy figures used in an advert, after a customer complained they couldn’t get anywhere near the 68mpg quoted. The court case once more exposes the yawning gap between officially sanctioned mpg figures and those experienced by owners. A recent study by the Independent Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT) looked at cars sold in the UK and Europe, and discovered the difference between official mpg figures and real-world driving had grown from 8% in 2001 to a barely believable 21% in 2011.
