Crane Camshaft # HIT 282, standard timing chain & hydraulic lifters set.  Removed from my 1970 Olds 442, after just 8,000 miles.  Lifters were removed and marked for position.  All 3 items are in excellent, used condition.

Crane Cams Tech Department says: This is a "hot street cam, with a fair / lopey idle":  491 Intake Lift / 518 Exhaust Lift * 226 Intake Duration / 234 Exhaust Duration * Ground on 110 lobe separation / 2500-5500 RPM Power  / Valve Spring Pressure 95LBS Seat / 280LBS Open * Great for 9.5:1 to 11:1 compression / 2500RPM minimum stall for automatics

This cam/lifters/timing chain ran great in my 455, removed to bring engine back to stock specs.  ALSO - see my other auction for the Rochester Q-Jet (7042251) that was used on the engine as well, and ran strong!

Built at the same factory as the much more expensive Bentley Continental GT and sharing much of the underlying mechanicals, the Volkswagen Phaeton managed to be a slower seller in the U.S.
