NOS Oldsmobile 5.7 diesel oil pan. Part #563502. Original box is long gone, but pan is NOS unused OEM GM part. Near as I can tell, fitment is: '79-'85 Riviera, '79-'85 Toronado, '79-'80 Eldorado and '80 Seville with Olds 350 diesel engine. Could also be used on gas motors in those vehicles if you wanted a higher capacity oil pan. Buyers please be certain this will work for your application. Actually looks like GM extended the bottom of a gas oil pan to make make a higher capacity diesel pan by welding a deeper sump on it. Pickup screen for this pan will be longer than that from a gas engine, so you will have to source that elsewhere if intending to use this in a non-diesel application.

Cadillac is considering a large, flagship sedan to take on the Mercedes-Benz S-class and BMW 7-series, a top General Motors official says. Mark Reuss, GM's president for North America, told Automotive News last month that a new flagship is on the table as GM maps its go-global strategy for Cadillac. A flagship would be a continuation of how GM has been positioning Cadillac's lineup to go head-to-head in each segment with BMW, Mercedes and Audi.

It has been reported this morning that Gordon Brown and Alistair Darling have agreed to dip in to tax payers funds to help Tata, the owners of Jaguar and Land Rover. Along with most other car makers in the world, Jaguar and Land Rover has been hit hard by the current economic blight. But it seems that Tata has been hit by more grief than most.
