Up for auction we have the coveted 58-62 olds rear. This was removed from a running car as the previous owner upgraded to strictly strip rear end. This was for my 55 gasser project. This rear is the better 31 spline axle shaft count. Comes with a wildwood disc brake conversion kit (450.00 alone). This package includes a set of coil-overs with with ladder bar brackets already welded on. The rear is a 4.56 posi, that in essence is fine but has sat for some time and deserves a look over. The other rear is a 3.42 open rear.  That one appears to have been gone over previously from what I can tell as it has a description paint penned on. One for strip or one one for street. Your choice. Also included is an old school Harwood olds rear girdle upgrade set. Have the original drum backing plates if for whatever reason you wanted drums in the back. Rear measures 55" from flange to flange. Great set up for your project.

I will not offer shipping. However if you want to arrange it yourself, feel free. I can deliver within reason at a cost to buyer, but that must be worked out prior to purchase. Any questions, let me know. reserve is barely above the cost wildwood brake kit. Prefer paypal or a cash in hand transaction. No checks, bank transfers, etc. Thanks and good luck.

Bugatti Veyron - 8 sold to one customer However wealthy you are it’s hard to imagine spending more than £1 million on a new car; a classic, certainly, but a new car with all that depreciation? No, thanks.  But that’s really just the starting point for a Bugatti Veyron, with the Veyron Grand Sport and the Veyron Super Sport costing substantially more than that.

Skateboarder Rob Dyrdek kick-flips a Chevrolet Sonic for ad

Mon, 19 Dec 2011

Professional skateboarder and MTV star Rob Dyrdek did something with a Chevrolet Sonic on Saturday that's never been done before: a kick flip. That's what they call it when a skateboard, or a car, corkscrews off a ramp, landing back on four wheels. The stunt was part of a Chevrolet ad campaign that started with the new hatchback driving out of a plane with a parachute like a skydiver.
