Steering gear components from an OMC 400 Sterndrive.  In very good condition with no broken, cracked or chipped parts.

This part is from an OMC Model 400 SS 1.65.1 Sterndrive, Model 982565 Ser No. W267345 powered by an OMC 120 2.5L engine. My research finds this model is from 1978-81 and has mechanical shift. I am parting out this complete sterndrive and some components from the Motor, some parts are listed and some are yet to be listed. I do not have the history on this motor but it had a cracked exhaust manifold which was probably why it was taken out of service. The exterior finish of the components are well weathered. As a result I disassembled the major parts to view the interior condition of the components and gears and they are in good non-corroded condition unless noted otherwise in this listing. The parts have been minimally cleaned for pictures to keep the start bid price low. I have attempted to accurately describe the condition but please ask questions and view the pictures carefully. Ships most economical means to US addresses. International shipping is possible with further communication and buyer paying any additional shipping costs. Ebay's return-refund policy is included.

AW gets a long-term natural-gas Honda Civic

Fri, 03 Dec 2010

For all those wanting to save the universe, may we introduce the latest member of the AutoWeek green car fleet--a Honda Civic GX. The GX is a regular Civic in every respect but one--its 1.8-liter four-cylinder internal-combustion engine is powered solely by compressed natural gas. The main benefit of this is that it achieves as close to zero emissions as you can get in a mass-produced passenger car.

A humble call for some civility

I made an all-too-rare appearance at my local gym the other day. I could tell it was too rare because people looked genuinely surprised to see me. Got there around 7 a.m.

1990s supercars

By Tim Pollard and Ben Oliver 10 July 2008 16:01 Supercars in the Nineties By now well and truly established, the supercar regulars continued to offer ever more outrageous products. The recession bit in the early ’90s, but thereafter some of the landmark cars were launched: the McLaren F1 is, for many, the definitive supercar of all time – a one-off conceived with all the purity of a grand prix racer. Others dabbled (remember the Jag XJ220?), but none achieved the Macca’s astonishing single-mindedness.Browse our GBU-style pick of the decade's landmarks below – and vote for your favourite supercar decade in our poll  Make and model Year Price Engine 0-60mph Top speed 1990 £156,000 5707cc V12, 492bhp, 428lb ft   4.1sec 202mph  For   The Audi-fettled 6.0 VT was the last, and best Against   A playboy's plaything; never gained real credibility Verdict   Lambo's thinking looked slow after the F40 and 959   Lamborghinis third mid-engined V12 supercar lacked the impact of the first two.
