Upper Gear Case Cover Plate from an OMC 400 Sterndrive.  Interior of the housing and the Gear are in very good used condition.  The exterior as shown in the pictures has cosmetic paint peeling and scratches.  Includes Rubber Bumper and Screw In Oil dip stick.

This part is from an OMC Model 400 SS 1.65.1 Sterndrive, Model 982565 Ser No. W267345 powered by an OMC 120 2.5L engine. My research finds this model is from 1978-81 and has mechanical shift. I am parting out this complete sterndrive and some components from the Motor, some parts are listed and some are yet to be listed. I do not have the history on this motor but it had a cracked exhaust manifold which was probably why it was taken out of service. The exterior finish of the components are well weathered. As a result I disassembled the major parts to view the interior condition of the components and gears and they are in good non-corroded condition unless noted otherwise in this listing. This The parts have been minimally cleaned for pictures to keep the start bid price low. I have attempted to accurately describe the condition but please ask questions and view the pictures carefully. Ships most economical means to US addresses. International shipping is possible with further communication and buyer paying any additional shipping costs. Ebay's return-refund policy is included.
