Mazda is killing production of its famed rotary engine when the last RX-8 sports car rolls out of the plant next summer. But the company eyes two roads to resurrection. The first is using an improved engine as the main power plant.

Bugatti unveils Veyron Grand Sport (2008)

And with the roof off, the Grand Sport is the slowest Veyron ever, capable of just 225mph. But don't fret, because with the targa panel in place the Grand Sport will still do 254mph. The windscreen now sits a little higher and there are daytime running lights and new alloys.

Fiat has revised the Grande Punto and given it a new name - The Fiat Punto Evo I’m not sure that a facelift – which is essentially what this is – calls for a new name, but Fiat say the Evo is different enough from the Grand Punto to make a new name sensible. Hmm. The nose of the Evo looks different from the Grand Punto, with new bumpers and lights, and Fiat say the interior is completely revised, and will include the option of Blue&Me-Tom-Tom – which manages telephone, SatNav and info systems through a colour touch screen.
