Item (3003)  Gimbal housing with ring and other small parts, as pictured from a 1987 omc cobra 4.3L V6.  may fit some other years.  Casting number on the part is 911658.  Used but very good above average condition.  original paint is very good and should not need painting, unless you want it to look perfect.  there is one spot of light corrosion on back around lower stud, this can be seen is last picture, mainly paint bubbling off but there is light pitting, this is very minor and will cause no problems, (see last picture)  i would recommend priming and painting this one area before installing. All threads are double checked good, gimbal bearing feels perfect and will not need replacing.  also there are NO hydraulic trim parts including the manifold block with this, whats pictured is what you get.  Part pictured is the part you will receive.  Removed from a fresh water boat here in North Alabama on the TN River.  Please bid with confidence because your  SATISFACTION is GUARANTEED!!  If you are not satisfied with this item it can be returned within 30 days for a no hassle refund.  You will receive quality packing and prompt shipping.   Item will be shipped USPS priority mail.  Thanks for looking.

MG Design Centre opens in UK

Thu, 17 Jun 2010

The opening of MG's new design center this week at the historic production site of Longbridge, Birmingham, England was both an incredible and credible occasion. Incredible, because the brand looked dead in the water after the debacle of MG Rover's collapse in 2005 and even after various Chinese takeovers, its UK operation seemed destined to play no more than a tokenistic bit part. And thankfully credible too, because now all of MG's global design will genuinely be led from this new facility in the epicentre of England's traditional motoring heartland.

See you in Shanghai; Conference and Awards events from CDN

Tue, 05 Apr 2011

阅读本文中文版本请点击这里 As China returns to work after the three-day Ching Ming holiday, all eyes in the automotive industry turn to Shanghai and what promises to be the most significant auto show of this year's global calendar.  CDN will be actively contributing to the insights into the direction being taken by car design in the country by hosting two events; the annual Interior Motives China conference and, on the middle evening of the conference, the awards ceremony of the second Car Design Awards China, for which the shortlist has just been announced. Themed ‘The challenge of being different', this year's Interior Motives China conference will see around 300 delegates wrestle with how to capture what is ‘Chinese' in car design. Speakers will be from both domestic studios and the design centres of global OEMs.
