Lower unit removed from 1986 V6 OMC Cobra sterndrive. The pinion gear is "stripped", apparently from being operated when not fully engaged in either forward or reverse. Bearings, forward & reverse gears appear to be undamaged, and clutch dog appears to be in good working order. The housing is in good condition, and all the seals seem to be fine. No oil leaks or water infiltration.

After all, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), although still considered by most to be a traditional British car maker, is in fact owned by Indian Conglomerate Tata.
