OMC Cobra Outdrive

This freshwater outdrive is in good shape.
It was removed from an OMC Cobra 4.3 engine with 247 hrs on it.
The gears look excellent.
It has been pressure tested.
Unit has a crummy paint job - I did not paint it - but it's the internal stuff that counts anyways.
Prop is included.

The 4.3 engine that was hooked up to this is listed on another ebay ad.

Volkswagen will end sales of the Routan minivan, a rebadged Chrysler-built minivan that VW has sold since 2008, the company's top U.S. executive said Wednesday. The Routan will be phased out this year, with most units destined for "internal purposes" such as VW's corporate fleet, said Jonathan Browning, CEO of Volkswagen Group of America.

Toyota has slipped behind competitors in drivetrain technology and now must play catch-up against the likes of Ford, Hyundai and Mazda. Much of Toyota's lag stems from engineering resources being diverted by the unintended acceleration crisis and other quality miscues in the past two years. Now expect Toyota to focus more on turbocharging and direct injection, and it may even bring a couple of diesels to the United States as part of midcycle changes.
