Up for auction is a completely RESEALED 14:26 OMC Cobra lower unit. This unit is a two year old after market GLM case that came in with bad gears. The unit recieved a very good set of used OMC gears and a NEW clutch dog. This unit is in good condition as are the gears and bearings. This unit  received all new anodes including the one on prop shaft bearing carrier. The pictures are of the unit you will receive. The unit will fit 3.0 liter GM from 1990 thru 1993 and all 4.3 liter GM, 5.0 Ford and 5.0 GM, 5.7 GM and 5.8 liter Fords using the standard cobra upper unit.(Will not work with SX or Cone clutch models).Shipping is for continental USA only. Another follow up from an earlier teaser shot is this, the 2012 Subaru Impreza, which is making its debut at the NY auto show. Digressing further from its infamous rally-bred history, the latest Impreza is being billed as the most economical AWD car for sale in the US market, and Subaru is also keen to stress the increased ride comfort and interior space of this model, which is claimed to offer unprecedented levels of refinement from an Impreza. The cars exterior, however, does have some nostalgic references, with the bold arches said to 'emphasize its sporty roots and standard All-Wheel Drive performance'.

AAA unveils battery-charging trucks for stranded EVs

The American Automobile Association has unveiled an example of its new roadside-assistance truck, which is capable of recharging batteries for stranded drivers of electric vehicles. AAA first announced the plan in June, and the first truck was shown on Monday at the Plug-In 2011 electric-vehicle conference in Raleigh, N.C. It uses Green Charge Networks technology and has a removable lithium-ion battery pack that allows for mobile charging.

SEMA buys Performance Racing Industry

The Specialty Equipment Marketing Association (SEMA) on Tuesday finalized plans to purchase Performance Racing Industry, and the transaction will close later this month. John Kilroy, who has experience as editor and associate publisher of PRI Magazine and as vice president of the organization, will continue to lead it. For now, according to representatives from SEMA, it's business as usual.
