Omc Cobra / Volvo Sx Trim Pump [earlier Style W/o Built-in Relays] on 2040-parts.com

Weymouth, Massachusetts, United States

Trim and tilt pump and motor with leads off OMC Cobra outdrive; all engines used same trim system. Pump is compatible with Volvo SX outdrives, too.  Note that OMC/Volvo used a different hose fitting than MerCruiser so those pumps won't swap on.  This pump uses externally-mounted up/down relays; later units had the relays mounted on the pump assembly but that won't stop you from swapping this pump in place of a later one - just connect your old relays.  If you have a dead pump or motor here's your affordable replacement - don't even think about going to a dealer for a new one unless you're made of money!  My price on this good used part is sensible and shipping's at actual cost*, too.    Check my FB and bid with confidence. Please Ask-a-Question if you have any, well, questions about this item; I'm here to help you get your boat up&running for cheap dough. Thanks for looking.

*Quoted shipping charge is my actual cost at the post office plus additional fees imposed by the selling venue; I do not make a profit on shipping.

Microsoft demos Apple CarPlay rival

Fri, 11 Apr 2014

The battle between Microsoft and Apple is being fought on the desktop, on the smartphone and now in the car. At its Build 2014 developer conference, held earlier this month in San Francisco, Microsoft demoed an early version of Windows In The Car, its response to Apple's CarPlay system we saw at the Geneva Show back in March. As you'd expect, In The Car's design follows the look of Microsoft's latest Windows and Window Phone operating system pretty closely.

45,000 complain about used car buys

Thu, 10 Oct 2013

USED CARS bought from independent dealers drew the highest number of complaints from disgruntled consumers in the last year, according to new figures. Citizens Advice has called on retailers to display consumer rights information at checkouts after more than half a million people complained about shoddy products worth £3.5 billion in the last year. Figures show 45,000 used car buyers lodged a complaint in the year to February, followed by 12,000 regarding mobile phone contracts and 11,500 about repairs by an independent garage.

Ken Block & Mini-Me – the Video

Sun, 06 Sep 2009

Ken Block & Rob Dyrdek Driving & Drifting The last report we did on Ken Block was after he delighted Top Gear’s James May with his antics in California, but now we have what can probably best be described as a comic teaser for what will be his next big video outing – Gymkhana 3.0. In this video – dubbed Gymkhana 2.1 – Ken Block gets a new sidekick – professional skateboarder Rob Dyrdek – who takes to a ‘Mini-Me’ kart version of Ken’s WRX Subaru in a playful drifting and playing game. The video is full of amusing comparisons, but just in case you don’t get it’s supposed to be funny we get treated to the Benny Hill theme tune – you know, the one where Benny gets chased in quick-time by a bunch of be-stockinged lovelies.
