Rare barn finds on sale: Jaguar E-Type and XK120 head to auction

The motoring world remains full of surprises – here we have a pair of classic Jaguars that had apparently been all but forgotten until they were pulled out of their respective hiding places earlier this year. The blue car is an early E-Type, the silver car an early steel-bodied XK120, both are heading to auction with Coys in the Ascot Sale on 26 October 2013. BMW Concept 4-series Coupe (2012) first photos

BMW is overhauling the 3-series Coupe - it'll be replaced in 2013 by the new 4-series Coupe and Convertible, previewed in this remarkably production-ready concept car. Munich reserves the 'Concept' moniker for its show cars which are in reality showroom ready. So strip away the sexed-up exhausts, 20in wheels and other trinkets and what you're looking at here is the new 2013 BMW 4-series.

Mazda gave its Mazda6 its world debut today at the 2012 Moscow auto show. The Mazda6, which is the production version of the Mazda Takeri concept first seen at the Tokyo motor show last year, follows the automaker's new ‘KODO - Soul of Motion' design language. The Mazda6, which measures in at 4,800mm long, 1,840mm wide, 1,450mm high with a wheelbase of 2,830mm, features the ‘signature wing' - an element of the new design language - set into the front, while the creases extending from the tips flow into body character lines.
